Technical Specifications for Thumb-Cut Calendars
Easy Online Customisation
Create your personalised calendar using our straightforward online design tool. Select from professionally prepared templates featuring monthly date grids, then customise each page by uploading your own photographs, graphics, or promotional artwork.
How to Submit Your Artwork
- Supply the complete Wiro-bound calendar artwork as one PDF file, with all pages arranged in the correct order from the front cover through to the back cover.
- Keep important text, page numbers, logos, and images away from the page edges to prevent them from being trimmed or affected during production.
- Allow a safe area of at least 15 mm along the top binding edge and 10 mm along the remaining edges. We recommend downloading and using our artwork templates when preparing your design.
Important: The calendar is viewed from January 2026 through June 2026. It is then turned over and read in reverse from July 2026 through January 2027.
Artwork Requirements
- Add 3 mm bleed to every side.
- Submit the artwork as a CMYK PDF, preferably using the PDF/X-1a standard.
- Convert all fonts to outlines or ensure they are fully embedded.
- Use images and graphics with a resolution of 300 dpi.
- Arrange the artwork for a 28-page calendar as follows:
- Page 1: Front cover artwork
- Page 2: Blank
- Page 3: January artwork
- Page 4: Blank
Continue alternating between printed artwork and blank reverse pages throughout the document. Page 28 should remain blank and serve as the reverse side of the back cover.
