Preparing Artwork for Wiro-Bound Printing
Submit the complete booklet artwork as one PDF, with all pages arranged in consecutive order from the front cover through to the back cover.
For example, a 22-page wiro-bound booklet must be supplied as a single PDF containing all 22 pages.
Artwork Requirements
- The total number of pages must be even and divisible by two.
- Keep text, page numbers and images safely away from the page edges.
- Maintain a minimum safe zone of 15 mm along the binding edge.
- Allow at least 10 mm of safe space around every other edge.
- Download the available templates to help prepare and position your artwork correctly.
- Add 3 mm of bleed on all sides.
- Supply the artwork as a CMYK PDF, preferably using the PDF/X-1a standard.
- Outline or embed all fonts.
- Prepare the file at 300 dpi.
