Annual Report Booklets

Annual reports provide an official financial record while also communicating a company’s performance, challenges, achievements and future direction. Although business information is increasingly shared digitally, professionally printed annual report booklets remain a preferred format because they offer a more substantial and impactful presentation.

By combining considered design, clear storytelling and transparent reporting, printed annual reports can create a lasting impression on shareholders, investors and financial analysts.

Professional Financial Reporting

Printed booklets reproduce financial information with sharp text, vibrant imagery and clearly defined graphs. They also provide a cost-effective solution for businesses producing reports regularly, whether monthly, quarterly or annually.

Saddle-Stitched Binding

Saddle stitching is a popular binding option for year-end reports because it creates a clean and professional appearance. This method allows the booklet to open and close easily while lying flat for more convenient reading and analysis.

Cover Lamination

Lamination is recommended for covers with heavy ink coverage. It adds a protective layer that helps prevent scuffing, friction marks and ink transfer during storage or transportation.

Available cover finishes include:

  • Soft Touch: A durable, premium finish
  • Matt: A refined and sophisticated appearance

Read our print-lamination guide for help choosing the most suitable finish.

For consistent professional branding, pair annual report booklets with matching letterheads, compliment slips and classic promotional pens.

UK shipping is included, although exceptions apply.

Preparing Saddle-Stitched Booklet Artwork

For additional support with booklet printing, visit the booklet-help section of our Resource Hub.

Submit the complete annual report artwork as one PDF, with every page arranged in consecutive reading order from the front cover to the back cover.

For example, a 40-page report should be supplied as a single 40-page PDF:

  • Page 1: Front cover
  • Pages 2–39: Internal pages in sequence
  • Page 40: Back cover

Artwork Requirements

  • The total page count must be divisible by four.
  • Keep text, page numbers and images away from the page edges.
  • Maintain a safe zone of at least 5 mm on every side.
  • A 10 mm safe zone is preferred for a better finished result.
  • Add 3 mm of bleed around all sides.
  • Supply the artwork as a CMYK PDF.
  • Outline or embed every font.
  • Prepare the file at a resolution of 300 dpi.
