Artwork Submission
Provide the casebound book artwork as two separate files.
1. Outside Cover File
Supply the complete outer cover as one spread containing:
- Front cover
- Back cover
- Spine
- Hinges
- Wraparound area
Download the available templates, as they include the required bleed, safe-zone and wraparound measurements. Use the spine-width calculator to determine the correct spine size.
2. Internal Pages File
Submit the inner content as individual pages arranged in consecutive reading order.
For example, a booklet ordered with 28 internal pages requires:
- One 28-page PDF containing all inner pages in sequence
- One cover PDF supplied as a complete spread, including the spine and wraparound area
File Requirements
- The internal page count must be divisible by four.
- Add 3 mm of bleed to every side.
- Maintain a 10 mm safe zone around all edges.
- Supply the artwork as a CMYK PDF using the PDF/X-1a standard.
- Outline or embed all fonts.
- Prepare the file at 300 dpi.
Blank white endpapers and flysheets will be inserted automatically after your artwork is received.
