Stapled Booklet Printing
Stapled booklets offer an effective way to present your products, services and forthcoming events. The compact A6 format fits easily inside pockets and bags, allowing customers to carry your information conveniently.
Printed on high-quality paper, these booklets give your content a professional and noticeable appearance. Designs can be tailored to your needs, whether you prefer a clean and elegant style or something bright and colourful.
Stapled brochures can feature product details, prices, promotional offers and other useful information. They are also suitable for promoting your business or introducing newly available services.
How Stapled Booklets Are Made
Individual sheets are folded and stapled along the fold, creating a saddle-like shape when the booklet is opened. This binding method is particularly suitable for publications with lower page counts, from 8 to 64 pages.
The result is a flat, professional booklet that can be customised with a variety of paper stocks, dimensions, finishes and lamination options.
Orders of up to 500 copies are produced using our advanced digital-printing facilities. Larger quantities are printed on modern lithographic presses.
Protecting Heavily Printed Covers
Lamination is recommended for covers with substantial ink coverage. The protective layer helps prevent marks caused by friction or ink transfer during storage and transportation.
Available options include durable, premium Soft Touch lamination and Matt lamination for a more elegant appearance.
Read our guide to choosing the right lamination for your printed materials.
UK shipping is free, although exceptions apply.

Preparing Design Files for Stapled Booklets
For booklet-printing support, visit the booklet-help section of our Resource Hub.
Submit the complete stapled-booklet artwork as a single file, with every page arranged in reading order from the front cover through to the back cover.
For example, a 40-page brochure should be supplied as one 40-page PDF:
Page 1 should be the front cover.
Pages 2–39 should contain the internal pages in sequence.
Page 40 should be the back cover.
Artwork Requirements
Page count: The total number of pages must be divisible by four.
Safe zone: Keep text, page numbers and images away from the page edges. Maintain a minimum safe area of 5 mm on every side for saddle-stitched brochures. A 10 mm safe zone is preferable for a better finish.
Bleed: Add 3 mm of bleed to all sides.
Colour mode: Submit the artwork as a CMYK PDF.
Fonts: Outline or embed all fonts.
Resolution: Prepare the artwork at 300 dpi.
