Why Choose Correx® Boards?
Standard Correx® boards are 3.5 mm thick and designed to keep printed graphics clear and vibrant. Their colour-fast, waterproof and weather-resistant properties make them suitable for temporary signage exposed to changing conditions.
For locations affected by stronger winds or requiring additional strength, 5 mm boards are recommended.

Our large-format printing sample pack contains material samples and practical information about their properties and uses. It is supplied completely white-label, making it suitable for resellers.

Technical Specifications for Correx® Printing
Preparing Artwork for Correx® Boards
Please prepare your artwork according to the following requirements:
- Add 3mm bleed to every side.
- Supply artwork in full CMYK colour.
- Submit a PDF, preferably in PDF/X-1a:2001 format. Read about the recommended PDF format.
- Embed all fonts or convert them to outlines.
- Set images to 150dpi resolution.
- Keep important content at least 5mm from each edge; a 10mm safe zone is recommended for the best finish.
- Use fonts no smaller than 18pt and lines with a minimum weight of 2pt. View further guidance for designing 150dpi artwork.
Drill-Hole Placement
- Drill holes have a diameter of 5mm.
- When every side of the board measures at least 400mm, holes will be positioned 30mm from the edges.
- If any side measures less than 400mm, holes will be placed 15mm from the edges.
- Keep all essential text and design elements clear of the drilling areas.
Ink-Bleed Allowance
Correx® is non-porous, so slight ink bleed may occur. The current production tolerance is 0.25mm. Leave at least 1mm between elements that must remain separate, including text, individual letters and QR-code details, to preserve clarity and accuracy.
Custom-Shaped Boards with Drill Holes
For custom cutting and drill holes, supply:
- Print-ready artwork.
- A cut path created as a 100% Magenta spot colour named “Cut contour”, using a 0.25pt line weight.
View instructions for creating a custom-cut rigid board. Every cut path must be a stroked path with no fill.
Double-Sided Printing
Supply a two-page file arranged as follows:
Page 1
- Print-ready artwork.
- A cut path using a 100% Magenta spot colour named “Cut contour” with a 0.25pt line weight.
Page 2
- Print-ready artwork.
All cut paths must use strokes only and contain no fill.
